Founded in 1949 by Richard Stryker, ABC is the oldest surviving employment agency of its kind on Long Island. Patrick Stryker has been in the business for close to thirty years. Andrew Lalonde has joined ABC, and brings many years of Professional Staffing experience.

We take pride in our professional, caring service, focused on local businesses on Long Island, and in the greater New York City area. We seek out candidates based on the job specifications provided by our employer clients, and strive to present the most qualified for their review.

We work at fee rates that are very competitive, and we can provide Direct Hire, Temporary, and Temp to Perm placements. We have counselors who focus on various industries, giving them unique insight into the needs and requirements of respective employers. We are licensed and bonded by New York State. We have been members of the Bellmore Chamber of Commerce and the Long Island Association. We are in compliance with all applicable regulations.

To identify qualified candidates, we exhaust many sources. We have advertised daily in Newsday for decades. We network through many local sources, community groups, the internet and much more. Some of our best candidates are referrals from individuals whom we have assisted in the past. Our candidates are interviewed, references are checked (we encourage prospective employers to do the same) and we provide guarantees to our clients. We work on a contingecy basis, and employers are under no obligation until they hire one of our referred candidates. Our terms are clearly spelled out in our Fee Agreement.
